Usb Foot Pedal Driver Download: How to Install and Configure Your Foot Switch

When I connect an Infinity IN-USB-2 footpedal to my Windows 7 Professional guest (on Ubuntu 14.04 and VMware Workstation 10.0.2), the pedal gets recognized by Windows and various applications, but pressing the pedal itself has no effect.

I downloaded a USB foot pedal tester ( -infinity-in-usb-1-foot-pedal-tester.soft112.com/) on the guest and it recognized that the device was connected, but when I pressed any of the three pedals, the tester did not detect the presses.

These pedals are all just universal USB controllers that require programs or apps to be able to see and recognize them for use. Because they are installed by Windows base drivers as generic USB devices, they cannot be seen my remote computers via USB sharing etc.

They recommended using a hotkey program to work around the problem. I did not try this solution, but purchased a different foot pedal that does work with VMs out of the box: a vPedal vP-1. Lesser build quality than the Infinity (in my opinion) but it works perfectly.

I do have a solution that will allow you to use the pedal as intended if the remote program needing to use it supports the use of hotkeys. For instance, these pedals are commonly used with NCH Software's Express Scribe Professional software. This software can use either a foot pedal, or you can assign the playback functions to hotkeys. In the scenario you are referring to you would configure Express Scribe on the remote machine to use HotKeys, you would then install Pedalware ( ), a free Windows only foot pedal utility made by NCH Software, you then use the Pedalware utility to assign the buttons of the pedal a HotKey that coincides with those set in the remote program.

FS2017U1 is equivalent to a Single Pedal USB Keyboard, you can define single, combination, shortcut key and so on through corresponding software. When you configure the function of the pedal, it can be used in many kinds of systems. Our foot switch will bring conveniences to your life!

The driver supports sending an event to the Tulip App when the foot pedal is pressed. This event also contains a "data" value that allows you to determine which button was pressed for food pedals with more than one button. This is exposed in the Tulip App Editor as a "Device Event" as shown below:

Fluid Motion, Fully Adjustable. The Rudder Pedals' fluid motion enables accurate command over your aircraft, while differential braking provides independent control of the left and right toe brakes. The foot rests adjust to accommodate a wide range of sizes and include non-slip materials to help keep the pedals on the floor during virtual flight.

If you have an All N One foot pedal that was purchased in 2017 and earlier your foot pedal is not compatible with Windows 10. You will need to buy the new version of the All N One transcription package with software. It comes with a New 3.0 Infinity USB foot pedal made for Window 10. Order the New windows 10 Transcription kit here.

This software works on all Windows computers. This software includes technical support for you. If you have purchased a previous version of the All N One and windows 7 or windows 8 operating software, you will need this upgrade. The transcription software works with the infinity usb1 and infinity foot pedals. If you need help to install or using the transcription software, please go to our help page.

I have installed Express Scribe and am using an Infinity USB foot pedal. The setup error message tells me that I need to download the HIDWatch.dll from this site, however, I cannot find it anywhere. I did download and run the VECUSB file, but that did not create the HIDWatch.dll file the program is looking for. Can anyone help me?

when attempting to start express scribe, i get an error message that the foot pedals are not detected. i have switched to all of my usb ports and get the same message. i have downloaded both the file mentioned above and the vec usb foot pedal driver from the express scribe website, and once i run the .exe file for the driver am given a message that the driver installation was succcessful.

the same message that the foot pedals are not detected occurs if i continue to the foot pedal setup wizard. i took the express scribe software as well as the driver from express scribe's website to my son's computer and received the same message. lastly, in my system tray there is an unplug device icon as soon as i plug in the foot pedal, but clicking on the properties and finding that a new updated driver is needed only gets me back to where i started, with the update driver program stopping without completion and the message that the driver update failed.

this is very odd because i have been using this foot pedal for several months with no problems at all. tech support thus far has not responded. anyone else have a similar problem or a suggestion? obviously i need the foot pedal for work and am having real trouble using the hot keys.

I have come across the exact problem with the VEC USB pedal. I was using my pedal before Christmas and after a little break came back to use it and I am receiving all the same messages as you are. I have checked all USB ports, downloaded, uninstalled, reinstalled, tried another computer, etc, etc all to no avail.

There have been a number of compelling reasons for this, the most critical being the opportunity to eliminate potential software and foot pedal compatibility issues. Other reasons have included improving workflow integration, brand loyalty, and possessing historic familiarity with the brand product.

If you want a foot pedal that is compatible with most third-party applications, is simple to use and configure, inexpensive and robust, then look no further than the Olympus RS-28H or RS-31H foot switches. They will revolutionise, AND simplify your world!

Hi Simon,Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately, the FTSW tool tells the foot pedals to react to hotkeys only so it can not recognise that you are changing apps. This is not a problem if you use Transcription software that is supported by the RS28H foot pedal such as ODMS R7 and Express Scribe Pro.Sorry about this.

Hi Gillian, thank you for your query. Unfortunately the foot switch configuration tool will not work with the foot pedal which came with the AS-5000 Olympus transcription kit, the RS-28. The RS-28 foot pedal was superseded by the RS-28H foot pedal when Olympus released the Foot Switch Configuration Tool with the RS-28H and RS-31H foot pedals in 2015. You will need to purchase a new foot pedal. Good luck, Catherine.

HiCan you please tell me if the Olympus RS31H foot pedal is compatible with Express Scribe Pro transcription or do I have to buy a new foot pedal in order to use this software?I have downloaded the free configuration tool and have a Windows computer. 2ff7e9595c
